Electron neutrinos are generated from unstable isotope B-8 by β+ decay and/or an electron capture (EC) process. And B-8 decay into He-4.

A : 8

Half-life : 770 millisecond

Decay modes

Q-value ~ 18.07 MeV

Product : He-4 (Branching ratio : 100%)
